Puppy Vaccination Schedule
7-9 wks old DHPP, **fecal/deworming
9-12 wks old DHPP/DHLPP, Lyme, Bordetella
12-15 wks old DHLPP, Lyme, Rabies
15-18 wks old DHLPP
Rabies, DHLPP, & Lyme should then be booster 1 year after. After the 1st Rabies booster it can be given every 3 years.
*This is our recommended schedule of vaccinations appropriate for puppies of all breeds. Depending on vaccinations given from the breeder, we may need to adjust this schedule slightly.
Your puppy will receive a complimentary "puppy pack" during the first visit. Vaccine boosters are given every 3-4 weeks to build your puppy’s immunity appropriately. If too much time has lapsed between boosters, we will need to restart your puppy’s vaccinations! Vaccinations take up to 2 weeks to be protective, so we highly recommend NOT taking your puppy to common areas such as dog parks, truck stops and other outdoor areas. Please discuss spaying/neutering with the veterinarian during these puppy visits.
Kitten Vaccination Schedule
7-9 wks old FVRCP, **fecal/deworming
9-12 wks old FVRCP, FeLV
12-15 wks old FVRCP, FeLV, Rabies
Rabies, DHLPP, & Lyme should then be booster 1 year after. After the 1st Rabies booster it can be given every 3 years.
* We recommend that kittens have a COMBO test for FIV and FeLV. It can be done at any age. Vaccine boosters are given every 3-4 weeks to build your kitten’s immunity appropriately. If too much time has lapsed between boosters, we will need to restart your kitten’s vaccinations! Vaccinations take up to 2 weeks to be protective.
Kittens can be spayed or neutered as early as 10 weeks of age. You will get a complimentary dose of Frontline during the first visit.
** If your puppy/kitten has not been dewormed, we will deworm them during these visit(s). A fecal exam during these visits is also recommended to make sure your puppy/kitten is free of intestinal parasites.
